Into the future with your support!
Please join us in our dedication to guide Theatre Adventure's journey into the next twenty years. Your donation makes possible dazzling opportunities for our troupe members to seek their aspirations as we build toward an optimistic future.
Our current actor group represents 280 person-years of participation in Theatre Adventure. The average length of participation is 9 years.
Whether our troupe members participate for two years or twenty years, they discover their own artistry; they create works of art with their fellow troupe members; their audiences appreciate them; they embrace their growing edges as they expand and stretch their abilities; and, they take their belief in self out into their schools, their jobs, and their communities as confident leaders.
Most importantly, our actors know we care---their teachers, you the audience, and you the donor.
Thank you!

20th Anniversary Reflection
More than twenty years ago a child named Elijah Jenson planted the seeds of Theatre Adventure for both his mother, Darlene Jenson, and for me, his teacher, Laura Lawson Tucker. Elijah has disabilities and a larger-than-life spark. He was one of the children in my early childhood program.
My burning question was how to help the other children in my group---all of whom were fast-moving, rambunctious, and curious---open themselves to bringing Elijah into their play. I wondered, how does inclusion happen? Darlene had similar questions. She had brought Elijah to many creative programs, and yet, thought that Elijah had yet to experience fully being part of a group.
Announcing the 2025 Winter/Spring Semester!
Our Winter/Spring Semester will begin on Jan 8 and 9. We welcome aspiring actors to join us! We have a Wednesday Troupe for school-age participants as well as some participating adults. We also have a Thursday Troupe for individuals who have graduated from high school. Our Thursday Troupe ranges in age from 19- 65 years old. In both troupes, we welcome a diversity of ages, challenges, and skills! We have discovered that theater offers tremendous opportunities for fun, building friendships, learning skills, and developing one's creativity. Join us!
The Wednesday Troupe is producing an old tale of friendship, magic, and courage, "The Princess and the Goblin" that will be performed May 7, 8, and 9. The Thursday Troupe will be working on performance skills in preparation for their Microphone-Time Coffee House, Friday, April 4. The Coffee House is designed to feature each performer as they "claim the stage" with passion and skill.
Please reach out to the Directors for more information: info@theatreadventure.org. (802-387-0765)
We look forward to meeting you!
We have two school-year troupes along with two annual productions. We also have a Traveling Troupe, a Mentoring Program, and a Summer Expressive Arts Program. Students may participate online or in-person.
Theater arts invite powerful self-expression.
It is our mission to provide a caring and creative community for artists with disabilities to claim the stage with distinction.
“We are grateful for having Theatre Adventure, it is a wonderful ‘meeting point,’ where talent, art, respect and affection are combined in a wonderful way. Thanks to all the members of Theater Adventure.”
